General Info

How do I Personalize My Item?

Fill out the personalization fields located on the item’s page. This will allow our production team to receive detailed information to create your personalized gift. Our goal is to produce exactly what you expect.

*NOTE: Some items do not allow for personalization. Some items are fashioned to arrive as shown.
Can I use Special Characters?

We can produce all letters, numbers, and symbols. If you have difficulty sending a special character, just get in touch with us and we will work with you to create what you expect.

Can I See a Preview of My Image?

Yes. You can choose to see a proof of your project. Simply check the box SEND IMAGE PREVIEW in the form. A small preview will generate after you click on the item.

Additionally, you can include special instructions in the COMMENTS section. A proof of your project will be sent to the email address you provide.

*NOTE: We will not begin production until we have received your written approval.
Using Logos/Photos from Web?

We do not suggest that you use logos or images that may contain copyrighted or trademark protected material without written consent of the owner. Any images created in this process are owned by you. Personalize4U.com is not responsible for any liabilities due to the use of unapproved images.

Ordering & Shipping

How long to process my order?

Our standard turnaround time for in-stock items is 1-3 business days. Imprinted items please allow 1 additional business day (more for large orders).

Ground shipping requires 3-5 business days transit time to most US locations. If you need your order sooner, please let your Customer Service representative know when you place your order, and we will make every effort to expedite your order when available.

How Can I Check My Order Status?

Once an order is shipped from our warehouse, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided with a tracking number. If your order was placed online you can check your order status online via your account.

If your order was placed through the mail or over the phone, please contact us and we are happy to give an update.

*NOTE: It may take up to 24 hours for the carriers to show updates.
How Will My Order Ship?

Orders ship via UPS Ground Standard to the continental US. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii may ship via USPS at our discretion. Expedited shipping services are available by request for an additional fee.

Can I Ship Internationally?

Currently, we exclusively ship to the United States.

I Need to Change My Order

To secure the fastest service, an order enters our production station immediately after it is placed. Unfortunately, changes to orders may not be permitted.

If you've made a mistake, call us immediately and we will let you know if any changes can be made in relation to its production status.

How Do I Apply a Coupon Code?

Coupon codes may be entered on the shopping cart page in the Coupon Code field. Only one code may be applied per order. Coupons may or may not apply to sale and clearance items. Coupon codes cannot be applied to previous or pending orders.

Is There a State Tax on Orders?

By Illinois Law, we collect sales tax of 10.25% on the (entire) purchase amount excluding shipping charges.

Can I place an order by e-mail?

Yes. Send an e-mail with a brief description of your project to us, directly at info@personalize4u.com.

Returns

Received the wrong item?

All discrepancies must be reported within 30 days of receipt. When you receive your order, please inspect it as soon as possible.

If you have received an incorrect product, contact our Customer Service department within 30 days and we will issue a UPS call tag to pick up the incorrect item. We will also confirm that all items you ordered were shipped out correctly to you, or re-ship any outstanding items if needed. See our Return Policy page for more information.

Damaged or defective item?

All damaged or defective goods must be reported within 30 days of receipt. When you receive your order, please inspect it as soon as possible.

If you have received a damaged or defective product, contact our Customer Service department within 30 days. Email info@personalize4u.com with a minimum of 2 photos showing the damage or defect. We ask that you retain the original shipping box and any shipping materials until your claim has been processed.

Ordered the wrong item?

Whether you ordered the wrong item, or change your mind, restockable items may be returned for credit when shipped back to us within 30 days of receipt. Although return authorization is not required, we recommend contacting Customer Service to let us know you will be returning the item.

Return shipping is at your own expense, except in case of Personalize 4U error, when we will issue a call tag for any incorrect item(s) that need to be returned to us. Please see our Return Policy page for more information.

My Account

Can I use old account login?

Your user account on the new Personalize4U.com is waiting for you. Just use the "Reset Password" link at the top of the page and enter the email address associated with your account. You will receive a link to reset your password, so that you can enter the new site and start shopping right away.

If your preferred email address is not found, please contact Customer Service so that we can update your account and get you logged in.

Why doesn't my old password work?

If you had an account on the old website, you will have to set a new password to use the new site. In accordance with best security and privacy practices, we do not have access to your old site password.

You may set the same password to use on the new site if you wish. Please use the "Reset Password" link, enter your account email address, and you will immediately receive a link to set your new password. If you have trouble setting a new password, a Customer Service Representative can reset it for you.
